Introduction
Dr. Nishat Parvez has been working as a professional wildlife and landscape artist since 1979. She is an enthusiastic observer of nature and thoroughly enjoys the creative challenge of capturing the arresting beauty of nature and it's beings in her work. She has created realistic wildlife art with a focus on particularity and dramatic light. She is inspired by large panoramas as well as close-up views.Her paintings are done in oil & water paints with traditional techniques including wet-on-wet and dry brush blending, scumbling and glazing. She is a doctorate in Drawing & Painting. She has lectured and taught art for more than 35 years now. She has exhibited her work across the country as well as internationally.
